# FirstLight Ventures

> FirstLight Ventures is an applied AI consulting firm on Amelia Island, Florida. We help good companies use AI to become great ones: we design and build how work gets done with AI, so the fundamentals get stronger and the company grows, with your people still at the center. One firm, two studios: Campbell Learn (the story, go-to-market and how people take up a new way of working) and Southern Made (software, security, integration, infrastructure).

## Who we work with

Owners and leaders of regional companies, typically 25 to 200 people, whose teams already have AI licenses but not the wiring: which part of the work goes to the machine, how the company's own knowledge gets to it, and how the workflow holds.

## What we do

Three moves, in order. Each one leaves something behind the client owns.

1. Find the light. Find the person already getting real results from AI and the workflow that is begging for it; make the first win visible inside tools the team already opens. Weeks, not months.
2. Augment it. Put the company's context into the tools (who you are, how the work gets done, what good looks like) so every person gets the company's answers instead of generic ones.
3. Build what's missing. Workflows, integrations, agents, security. Every step placed deliberately between automated and human judgment.

Seven things we do. Most engagements use two or three:

- A context management system: the company's knowledge, written down in a form the machine can use.
- Workflows, rules and compliance: where AI drafts, advises, acts, and where it stops and asks.
- Software development: the pieces that don't exist yet, built and handed over.
- AI augmentation design: your people, faster, inside the tools they already open.
- Marketing and sales, with AI: one voice, every proposal, every follow-up.
- Training: what AI is good and bad at, for each role.
- An AI roadmap: what gets built next, in what order, and why.

## How an engagement runs

1. The 30-minute evaluation. Free. Bring one workflow; we tell you the truth about it, including if you don't need us yet.
2. The live demo. Free. The first win working on your numbers before anyone commits.
3. The Diagnostic. Paid, fixed fee quoted up front, two to three weeks: where AI moves your economics, in dollars, and what we'd build first.
4. Build, then expand. Project fee. The people who scoped it build it.

No surprise AI bill, no platform to rent, and the client owns what we build: code, context and workflows live in the client's accounts. If it doesn't move a number (revenue, hours, capacity), we kill it ourselves.
